Dundee and Tayside - Wed, 17 Oct, 2012 Video Clips. Duration : 24.03 Mins.

A woman's been the victim of a serious sexual assault in her Perth home. The twenty three year old was woken by an intruder and threatened with violence before the attack took place at her flat in the city's Potterhill Gardens. The incident happened at midnight on Monday and follows an attack and robbery of a 68 year old woman at nearby Bridgend Court the night before. In other news; the operators of a Dundee veterans' home say an investigation has found no evidence of bullying by staff. Rosendael in Broughty Ferry has been at the centre of a series of claims of harassment and reports linking this to the death of a resident. The Scottish Veterans Housing Association today welcomed a report into complaints made to the Care Inspectorate, saying they "fully contradicted" the claims. Complaints about the opening of mail and one case of accessing a computer file were upheld, and the home say procedures will change. And in sport; Aberdeen striker Niall McGinn says he'll struggle to top, scoring for Northern Ireland in last night's World Cup draw in Portugal. On the night Cristiano Ronaldo celebrated his one hundredth cap for the hosts, McGinn stole the headlines. He showed great composure on the half hour to fire Michael O'Neills men into a shock lead. However they were denied a famous win, when Helder Postiga levelled late on.
